Tourist Information was established in May 2001 and it is a part of Cultural Centre in Wadowice. It is situated in the centre of the town, tourists do not have any problem with finding its  thanks to marking well. There are employed four informants, they are furnishing tourists with total information about Wadowice Municipality and other places in district of Wadowice. We have complete local database which is updated currently. We dispose numerous promotional publications in various languages (among others: Polish, English, German, Italian, Spanish, French, Slovak). We publish various brochures: street map, brochure of Karol Wojtyła’s Route, guidebook ‘Arrive, explore and fall in love!’ about Wadowice, Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, Lanckorona Sucha Beskidzka, Tomice Commune, Zator. Moreover, we dispose issues from among others Polish Tourist Organization, Małopolska Tourist Organization, Marshal Department
of  Małopolska Region, Miniature Park in Inwałd. Papal Train, Salt Mine in Wieliczka. There is possible to take maps, brochures, leaflets and use books of travel from our reading-room, there are above 200 items. For foreigns tourists we propose the town visiting with audio-guide or guiding.

 Our achievements:

-         Distinction for our contribution in development and promotion of tourism in Małopolska Region.
-         First place in contest organized by Polish Tourist Organisation at the best Tourist Information in 2007 at category of Tourist Information in towns to 20 thousands of inhabitants.
-         One of the model Tourist Information in Małopolska Region according to Marshal Department of  Małopolska Region.
